Education: Master degree in Economics, Specialisation “Finance and Banking” at “Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics”, Svishtov.

 Master degree in Law at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo.

 Certified Internal Auditor in the Public Sector.

 Work experience: From 1996 to 2009 he had worked in the field of financial control and internal audit as a financial controller and internal auditor.

 Since 2009 he has worked in the Commission for Public Oversight of Statutory Auditors (CPOSA). In 2012 he was appointed as a Director of the “Oversight Activity” Directorate. In 2015 he was appointed as a State Expert in “Methodology and Internal Quality Control” of CPOSA.

 Since 17.03.2020 г. he has been the Secretary General of CPOSA.

 He is a member of the Council on European Affairs organized under the Council of Ministers in Bulgaria. He represents CPOSA in the major international groups (CEAOB – on EU level, IFIAR – on global level) in the field of audit regulation.
